  Best quiet hideaway we've found within a 1/2 day's drive from DC. The tiny homes are simple, but comfortable, thoughtfully designed and accommodating.
  
  The lofts are great for kids, but pick a house with one that is appropriate, especially if you have young ones. With a little guidance, our 3 year old had no problem with the Moonshine loft though she had to be supervised.
  
  We also loved Moonshine for the Murphy bed. Its bench doubles as two cushioned seats for dining and when folded up, there is lots of extra space for day use.
  
  We stayed during a frigid stretch with wind chills downwards of -20 but the house was always cozy warm. The radiator heat is also great for drying out winter mittens and hats!
  
  There is a little sledding hill just above the reception building by the camp fire that is perfect for little ones so don't forget to bring a sled in the winter time.
  
  The customer service and welcome is exceptional. When you arrive, they'll drive you and your gear up to your unit with a golf cart. They are always ready to cart you up and down the hill to or from your unit during your stay.
  
  We went to sleep with the soft glow of Christmas lights on our porch and woke up to wildlife tracks outside our front door!
